The founder of Bruce’s Doggy Day Care assumes the 2-year chair role at the Pet Industry Federation (PIF).
PIF CEO Nigel Baker said that the federation is “delighted” to have someone of Casalis’ stature as chair.
“There are a lot of exciting developments in the pipeline for PIF members this year, and we look forward to working with Bruce to help bring these to fruition.”
Casalis, who has been a board director of the Pet Industry Federation (PIF) since 2018, added, “I am excited to be taking on the chair role in PIF’s 75th year and am looking forward to using my experience and passion to help the federation grow and become an even more effective ambassador for the pet industry.”
Earlier this month, the federation opened bookings for its export scheme, where manufacturers and suppliers can export their products to Europe cost-effectively and efficiently. The scheme was introduced in September 2022.
PIF has a membership of more than 2,000 organizations across the UK.
