Accapi Group to support brand growth with new appointments

The European distribution partner for outdoor dog brand Ruffwear plans to expand in Europe in 2022.

David Drachmann-Sunne is joining Accapi as European Sales Director. He will be responsible for opening new business opportunities in the DACH countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and the Nordics.

Natalie Sullivan is the new Director of Marketing of the British group and will be in charge of driving demand and supporting retail sell-through for the Ruffwear brand throughout Europe.   

This growth and the further strengthening of our core team in Europe is a key step in more Ruffwear consumers becoming fans of the brand for life and our excellent levels of service, trail-tested product warranty, and inspiring stories of dogs and their humans living their best lives outdoors is key to that success,” said Managing Director Rob Hughes.

The company will also expand the marketing department and the customer operations and logistics.

Accapi said that its sales increased by 64% in 2021 driven by the “significant growth of the brand throughout the UK, DACH, Nordics and French-speaking markets.
