Dogness signs new retail distribution partnership

Chinese pet store chain Xiuhu will sell the manufacturer’s smart pet products across its 200 shops nationwide.
Xiuhu will sell Dogness products in its stores, including GPS trackers, Bluetooth-enabled leashes and a line of more traditional pet products such as pet collars, harnesses and carriers. Xiuhu stores are mainly concentrated in Guangdong Province, in Southeast China.
Both companies say they are working together to jointly explore and develop successful retail operations and other potential business areas and also to promote the development of sustainable and branded pet retail business.
Dogness CEO Silong Chen said the company is proud to partner with one of the world’s most successful pet retail chains and a “trusted and valued” source for premium pet supplies.
“Our strategic cooperation represents the latest significant expansion of Dogness’ retail distribution network, as we bring the wonderful experience of our technology-enhanced products to pet owners everywhere and work to accelerate our company’s growth,” he emphasized.
Founded in 2003 in Dongguan, Dogness is focused on smart technology for pets encompassing the pet intelligence, bathing, nutrition and tech toys sectors with more than 200 patents. The company has been publicly listed on Nasdaq since 2017 and in recent days its shares have increased by 4%.
Earlier in 2021, Dogness announced an agreement with one the world’s largest e-commerce companies in China with the aim of having access to the more than 500 million active customers in the country.
