Pet care and food company HOWND secures £250,000 investment
The UK company that specializes in ethical, vegan pet grooming and feeding products is poised to expand its product range and enter new markets.
HOWND continues to grow, recently developing a new pipeline of products and recruiting experienced new members of staff. Vegan pet products constitute a small but growing sector and the firm has ambitious plans to become a category leader.
The investment comes in the form of a revolving credit facility from Growth Lending to support the company’s growth. The loan will also enable the business to increase its direct sales to customers, alongside sales through other retailers.
The company has so far been funded via equity fundraising and this loan will support the firm in the run-up to its next funding round.
