Biogance improves animal well-being by optimally formulating its products to respect a pet’s natural coat balance.
Unique and innovative
Based in Anjou, in France’s Loire Valley, Biogance is a pet care specialist and a pioneer in organic and natural products. With a dedicated research centre and a modern GMP-certified production unit, it aims to lead and stimulate the pet healthcare and wellness category and develop unique and innovative products.
Pampering pets responsibly
Within its R&D department, each product development project is evaluated against the company’s ethical and business values: a focus on pet well-being rather than pet humanisation, the use of organic and natural ingredients for the formulations, and optimal adaptation of the product to the breed of pet, the environmental conditions and the owner’s lifestyle.
Anticipating the future
The company is driven by a passion to enhance and improve pet well-being in today’s ‘selfish’ world. It strives to optimally formulate its products to help pets cope better with various environmental factors such as pollution, free radicals, air conditioning, oxidation, tobacco smoke, chemical ingredients and so on.
Breed globalisation
Nowadays, animal breeds are no longer limited by borders or particular territories of origin; the globalisation trend has brought new breeds of pets to new parts of the world. Especially in the case of dogs, cats and small mammals, it is important to consider the impact of the non-native climate on things like their skin and to choose products that restore elasticity and bring vitality and balance to their coat.
Private label
Since 2018, Biogance has extended its production activities to include selected private label projects. The company offers a full range of services to help its strategic clients build strong brands.
A number of large pet stores and garden centre chains have already placed their trust in them and added a French touch in their private-label pet care line.
Biogance manages the whole process, from the project concept to delivery, as well as handling the regulatory aspects and carrying out the necessary tests (microbiological, analytical, stability, efficiency, et cetera). The company has a wide range of formulas covering the various categories, for example hygiene, food supplements, anti-parasite and healthcare.
