Mediterranean diet for dogs and cats

The Mediterranean diet is widely recognised as the healthiest diet in the world, and it is also one of the best options for dog and cat health. It is based on the appropriate mix and balance of all ingredients to maximise the nutritional and biological value of the food. Gosbi’s products are made from carefully selected natural raw materials. The recipes include high percentages of meat and fish as well as fresh fruit and vegetables sourced from local Mediterranean suppliers and a blend of antioxidants and prebiotics with the virtues of medicinal plants. The products do not contain by-products, palatants or artificial preservatives.

Although it limits the production capacity, the company works with its own unique slow cooking method at a low temperature (max. 90°C). This achieves high protein digestibility and keeps the nutritional properties of the products intact while providing exceptional palatability.

Pet specialty and veterinarian channels

Their products are not sold through multi-brand online stores, partly because the production volume is insufficient to meet supply needs. “We prefer to support independent pet shops and veterinarians that better understand our food and brand philosophy, and can explain and recommend our products to pet owners,” says Isaac Parés.

No animal testing is involved in the development and production of Gosbi’s products, and the company is certified by the world’s largest animal rights association, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
