The global ingredient manufacturer sees great opportunities in the region thanks to the strong growth of the local market.
Kemin Industries has opened new offices and a distribution center in the Mexican city of Guadalajara, which will serve different markets in the region.
The new 36,000-square-foot building can produce more than 1,000 metric tons of product, according to the company.
“The Kemin Mexico team is excited about the opportunity to expand our footprint, grow our team and offer more solution-oriented products to our customers in the Mexico and Central America regions,” claimed Guillermo Garcia, the company’s Operations Manager.
For the General Manager of the Petfood and Rendering division in North America Kimberly Nelson, this new plant will support their market in the area, consolidating their partnerships with industries in Mexico to “reach our long-term business goals together.”
The manufacturer sees great potential in the region as the local marketplace for pet food and rendering is “experiencing strong and resilient growth.”
Founded in 1961, Kemlin Industries’ manufacturing facilities are present in more than 15 countries and across six continents. The company supplies over 500 specialty ingredients for human and animal health and nutrition worldwide.
