With the support of Martin Spengler and Sibylle Geisert, the German pet food manufacturer is resetting the course for a strong brand.
With the recruitment of Martin Spengler, MERAâs managing director Felix Vos has a true expert at his side. As second managing director, Spengler will dedicate himself to marketing and sales. The business engineering graduate started his career at the L’Oreál Group and held the position of head of retail management, among others. Until recently, Spengler served as Director E-Commerce & Consumer Products for Weight Watchers International where he was able to successfully expand the analog business as well as increase sales in e-commerce.
Sibylle Geisert, the new head of the marketing department, also knows her trade. In addition to a degree in business administration and an MBA in international marketing, she looks back on a wealth of experience also in the pet food sector, having already worked for consumer brands such as Pedigree, Frolic and Whiskas. Until recently, Sibylle Geisert was Head of Strategic International Brand Management/Consumer Insights for Douglas, where she shared responsiblity for strategic brand alignment in international marketing.
âWe are thrilled to have won two such qualified marketing and sales executives for MERA. Now nothing stands in the way of the expansion of the brand and its growth in Germany and beyond,â says Felix Vos with positivity for the future. âWe were truly able to accomplish a lot during the past years, such as the introduction of the umbrella brand with new product lines and the continuous expansion of our sustainability management. With new energy and revitalized team power, we can consolidate and build on the results we have already achieved.â
