As reported by Start-ups Latam, Tu Mejor Amigo, a start-up that provides subscription-based pet care services, has been acquired by its compatriot, Cuida Mi Mascota.
The start-up’s founders told the online publication that the main reasons behind its decision to sell were the “attractiveness” of the deal, as well as the potential for cross-selling between the 2 companies.
Following the completion of the acquisition, Ignacio Zanotto, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Tu Mejor Amigo, will join Cuida Mi Mascota as Chief Product Officer (CPO) to head up the firm’s products and operations.
Tu Mejor Amigo’s other co-founders, Ignacio Poli and Federico Aracre, told the publication that they were unsure of their short-term plans.
