Loyal Companion launches this weekend as the ultimate store for pet lovers focused on natural wellness by joining together seven well-known independent pet retailers under one new umbrella brand. Bark!, Especially For Pets, Kriser’s, Pet Life, Pet Source, Dogma – Life With Your Pet, and Whole Pet Central are combining under one brand dedicated to modern and holistic pet care.
Loyal Companion represents a passionate community of pet experts – nutritionists, behaviorists, educators and groomers – that have banded together to expand access to resources and products, making life easier for pet parents. Customers will find all-natural pet food, including raw, wet and freeze-dried brands as well as grooming, training, daycare and vet (at select locations).
“We are passionate about pets and excited to bring together beloved independent natural pet retailers under Loyal Companion,” said Jeff David, CEO of Independent Pet Partners, Loyal Companion’s parent company. “Loyal Companion is about creating a community for pet lovers that shares their values, while being a place to learn, have fun and connect.”
To kick things off, all 52 locations will celebrate with free swag bags (for the first 100 customers), doorbuster prizes, raffles including free pet food for a year, 500 bonus points in the new rewards program, samples, treats and fun throughout the day. Select stores will also have photo booths, taste tests, raw food bars, pet tattoos, nail trims and more.
“As part of one family, we have the power to take what these retailers know about their customers’ needs and help them grow with additional in-store services, communications, expanded digital capabilities and customer service support,” continued David. “Whether shopping online on our new ecommerce platform, or in-person, and whether looking for pet food or grooming services, we want our customers to have the same community feel and support.”
