Giving back
Recognising the plight of the up to seven million animals entering shelters in the US each year, P.L.A.Y. launched its Warm Bellies Initiative in 2012. Each month they work with the Petfinder Foundation to provide a bit of comfort to these animals in need by donating Chill Pads to shelters throughout the country. The company has also partnered with the International Fund for Animal Welfare and donates 2% of the proceeds from its animal-themed plush toy collections to this organisation. In addition, the P.L.A.Y. Scholars for Collars Scholarship raises awareness amongst youth on animal welfare issues.
