CBD manufacturer Charlotte’s Web names new CFO
Jessica Saxton replaces the company’s former Chief Financial Officer, Greg Gould.
The manufacturer of hemp CBD extract products has appointed Jessica Saxton as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective 1 January 2023.
Saxton, which the Colorado-based company believes has a successful track record as a business developer, will execute the next phase of the company’s growth plans.
Jacques Tortoroli, Chief Executive Officer of Charlotte’s Web, said Saxton would begin her role as CFO “during a pivotal time” for the company.
Driving the business forward
“The actions taken in 2022, including rightsizing our costs and successfully completing a $57 million financing, have strengthened the foundation for our new partnerships and growth initiatives. We are confident in Jessica’s ability to continue driving the business forward.”
Jessica Saxton has held senior finance positions with several companies, including brewing multinational Anheuser-Busch InBev and automotive giant General Motors.
Along with hemp-extract wellness products for humans, Charlotte’s Web also produces CBD pet products for dogs.
