First CIPS online trade show a success
The first session attracted 118 exhibitors and about 1000 buyers from 66 countries. Through the online platform, 479 conversations and 179 live broadcasts were set up, with a total of 28,972 minutes and 1,669 people watching.
Immediately after the online show closed, CIPS started organizing online face to face business matchings. Suppliers and buyers start further communicate about their business.
In the follow-up buyer survey, 76% of them believes that online ordering will also become a trend of the international trade in the future. 89% of them believes that the online exhibition will help their trade. However, almost all, both exhibitors and buyers said they they need the offline face to face meeting each year at CIPS, this year even more than ever, in order to deepen and widen the relationships which started with this online event.
