American pet health and wellness company Vetnique Labs, backed by private equity firm Gryphon Investors, has announced that it will acquire Lintbells, a B Corp-certified pet supplement firm.
“Our combined portfolio greatly increases our company’s scale across the key areas of hip and joint and digestive and will allow us to bring science-backed formulations, clinical efficacy and patented products to consumers worldwide,” says Chris Slager, Executive Chairman of the newly combined company.
Vetnique CEO and Founder James Bascharon will be responsible for North American operations, while his counterpart at Lintbells, Fiona Hope, will handle the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.
The financial terms are expected to close by September.
Gryphon Investors, which acquired Vetnique Labs last year, believes the new platform will be “a leader in highly efficacious pet health and wellness that stands for quality, research and innovation and sustainability.”
