Although it's still waiting for the final verdict, the majority of shareholders seem to have approved the latest bid.
Last week Hellman & Friedman and EQT made a joint bid of €3.7 billion ($4.3b) that came with an expiration date. More than 50% of Zooplus shareholders need to be in favor for the transaction to be approved.
On Thursday, word came out that this threshold had been reached.
Now it’s waiting for a few more days until we get final confirmation. But it seems like the deal will happen.
