Michigan-based Whisker announced an investment of $10.7 million to expand operations nationwide.
The company plans to build an adjacent 150,000-square-foot warehouse facility in Juneau (Wisconsin), that will allow the company to increase its production.
The company, formerly known as AutoPets, is the maker of the Litter-Robot automated litter box and the Feeder-Robot automatic feeder, along with litter, bedding, and other cat products.
A previous renovation in 2020 doubled the size of the facility to 62,000 square feet. The new project is expected to create 150 jobs over the next two years.
“Our desire to grow our U.S. operations was already something we were confident in,” claimed Jacob Zuppke, CEO and president of Whisker.
