The Arkansas-based private label manufacturer said it is “excited to celebrate” 2 promotions within the commercial department.
Amanda Foreman has been promoted to vice president of business development after almost 2 years of acting as the company’s senior director of business development.
Meanwhile, Holly Davis was appointed vice president of sales from her current role of senior director.
Scott Roberts, Senior Vice President – Marketing, Business Development & Sales Operations at Simmons Foods, said he was proud of the 2 “exceptional leaders” that are becoming part of the company’s management team.
New facility
The changes come shortly after the city council of Dubuque (Iowa) approved the manufacturer’s facility expansion in Dubuque Industrial Center South.
The expansion includes the construction of a new 190,000 square feet warehouse. According to media reports, it is said to have cost $22.5 million (€21M) to build.
Simmons Pet Food announced the creation of the second line of canned pet food at its Dubuque site in July 2022, which began operations a month after.
