The companies will participate in a 12-week program, running from 26 September 2022 , and receive $200,000 in funding.
Each startup will have access to the guidance of strategists, technologists, designers, and consultants to craft a custom pathway to achieve their objectives.
The selected startups participating in the Leap Venture Studio accelerator program are:
BorrowMyDoggy, an online community that matches dog owners with local sitters for walking and holiday care; HiPets, a Polish veterinary booking system and marketplace for pets; Marleybones, a subscription service for dogs; Moggie, a platform for chat communication and health device for cats; People who kaer, a pet food brand specializing in supplements; Rex, a veterinary clinic supported by the latest technologies, and Petty Well, a subscription service that offers natural meals for pets.
The participants will also receive a custom mentorship to prepare each company for future fundraising.
Leap Venture Studio’s accelerator program launched in 2018 as a result of a partnership between manufacturer Mars Petcare, animal welfare organization Michelson Found Animals Foundation, and services platform R/GA Ventures.
Since then, the program has helped 33 companies raise $170 million in follow-on capital.
