Agras Delic was established in 1986 with the objective of giving the same level of quality, care and attention to pet food as is given to food for human consumption.
About Agras Delic
Renowned for its know-how, it was the first company to launch singleportion, wet products with 100% natural ingredients, and continues to pioneer the development of new flavours and formats. Offering various brands, it services both the pet shop channel and large chains, selling its products in more than sixty countries around the world.
Quality and ethics
The company refuses to use invasive and cruel testing of any kind to produce its pet food, which is one of the reasons it was named a cruelty-free brand by animal associations. Its packaging displays the following guarantee symbols that explain the company’s approach to quality and ethics:
- Sea water fish (fish taken from the open sea, not farmed);
- Hormone-free (chickens from farms that do not use hormones in the feed);
- Dolphin-safe (tuna fishing method to protect dolphins – IDCP programme).
Green company
Agras Delic is committed to be a ‘green company’, protecting the environment for future generations through a growing number of actions that are tangible, transparent and easily identifiable by consumers.
Tuna species that are not overfished are selected, as well as fish that have already reached reproductive maturity. Recyclable materials are preferred for packaging and retail point materials and, when possible, recycled paper or paper from controlled and regenerated forestation is used. CO2 emissions arising from excess paper use are compensated through reforestation.
Honest products
The Stuzzy branded range includes various types of products, associated with an excellent ratio between convenience in terms of price and the quality of the raw material. The products contain the highest meat percentages, they are very appetising and free from added synthetic colourings or preservatives. Innovative character Schesir, a pet food brand of Agras, stands for continuous innovation. It was the first brand to integrate real pieces of fruit into its feed line, instead of using fruit extracts, thereby acknowledging the particular added value of fresh fruit. Thanks to the latest restyling, Schesir now also has a strong position in the dry food sector
