Candioli pillars
Enriched by 134 years of experience, Candioli is based on three fundamental pillars: new products, quality and people. These company strengths are the reasons for its leading position on the Italian market and its rapid growth on several international markets. Its corporate values are innovation through R&D, integrity, effectiveness and practicality.
Scientific research
Scientific research is key to manufacturing high-quality products. It allows the development of new effective products that satisfy pet owners’ needs.
Core business
Candioli entered the pet market in the 1940s-1950s and the brand is widely recognized by Italian vets as a producer of reliable, top-quality products. The company’s current strategy focuses onpets, more specifically, complementary feeds, cosmetics and wellness productsfor dogs and cats.
New dermo-cosmetic line
The Actea. Range, the latest product line, is the result of research, innovation and scientific trials. Its products contain an innovative mix (Italian patent no. MI2014A001660) with natural molecules (Lactoferricin, GPI and Verbascoside) that effectively control inflammation, and bacterial and fungal overgrowth in dogs and cats. The range consists of anti-earwax eardrops, dermatological lotion, oral gel to control plaque and halitosis, and protective shampoo.
Certification
Candioli is the first Italian company producing feed supplements to receive GMP certification. GMP refers to the Good Manufacturing Practice Regulations as formulated by the US Food and Drug Administration under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
Worldwide presence
The excellent performance of its R&D department and the launch of innovative products proved to be pivotal to Candioli’s market entry in many new countries: in only eight years did the company proceed from distributing only in Italy to operating in forty different countries. The development of the export department has just begun: Candioli wants to continue the internationalisation process and make its products known all over the world.
