For a long time, accessories for small mammals were very basic, and more often than not unpractical. Now, pet brands are finally offering innovative and modern looking products for little critters. 

In 2016, the StayBowl was winner of the Pet Business Recognition Award. The concept of the bowl is as simple as it is ingenious: thanks to its broad rim, this bowl is a tip-proof ergonomic feeding bowl for guinea pigs and other small mammals. No more wasted kibble all over the cage! Trixie applies the same concept with a similar bowl, be it with a range of unusual colours from bright green to deep purple! The anti-slip rubber foot holds the bowl in place when a rabbit or guinea pig is feeding. 

The French company Hamiform has also latched on to this trend with its own line of accessories, including stylish food dispensers. The front of such dispensers is reinforced with a metal trim, preventing rodents from biting it.
