Ferribiella, founded in 1980, is a constantly evolving Italian pet product manufacturer, whose mission is to satisfy the most demanding needs of animals worldwide.
Ferribiella ostensibly operates in a highly dynamic environment. Its R&D team is constantly working to anticipate the needs of our pet friends. Each product is characterized by a unique design, making Ferribiella products one of the most recognisable brands on the market.
Ferribiella is constantly growing in every aspect. This is mainly due to their vast experience (over 36 years) in researching the best products for animals. Additionally, the company has a sales network of more than 2,000 stores in Italy and a distribution network spanning over 37 countries worldwide.
The brand new offices, scheduled for official opening this spring, have been constructed with eco-friendly building materials. Attention was paid to minimising the environmental impact and maintaining the green image which Ferribiella has painstakingly upheld over the years. The architecture of the newplant is modern with spacious and bright offices, which offer the option to set up more and new spaces for customers in the future.
Ferribiella pays the same level of care and attention to its surroundings as it does to manufacturing its products. The company’s new headquarters, located in Verrone), will cover over 13,500 sqm and provide ample storage space for their products.
Ferribiella products are known for their quality, attention to detail and appealing colours, and meet basic physical and emotional needs of pets. They are organised in several product lines which are known as ‘collections’, each with their own unique concept. Some of their most successful collections are:
- Coats collection – the Fuss Dog coats are definitely the best-selling and well-known Ferribiella products: beautiful, elegant and sensitive to the needs of our furry friends. Designed and conceived in Italy, the line offers several models available in a variety of sizes and colours to meet the needs of all consumer groups.
- Hygiene collection – a range of products providing top-quality pet hygiene products, ranging from sanitary mats to shampoo.
- Snacks collection – the Bone Fruit Snacks and the Nature Snacks are Ferribiella’s most popular snack lines.
At this year’s edition of Interzoo, Ferribiella will present its new ranges, which feature more than 500 new products each year, from dog leads to chew toys, and much more… A special example is the Fuxtreme toys line, which is aimed at highly energetic dogs that want to chew more.
In developing their new products, Ferribiella is inspired by market needs as well as collaborative efforts with new and stimulating partners, which pushes the company’s R&D team to constantlyresearch new ideas.
Ferribiella launched a new service, ‘business to business’, in July 2015 which allows customers to place orders in a service inventory system that is updated in real time. More than 8,600 products are ordered and dispatched every day with the company’s new operating system processing orders. The ‘business to business’ system has been off to a great start, as more and more customers use it daily, they find it convenient for collecting all available items and submitting their order directly in the system.
Building the future
The latest generation owners, Genny and Alessandro Avonto, have followed in the footsteps and are building on the experience of the company’s founders. They make sure that each new productcontinues to be based on pet industry standards, with a strong focus on the requirements of pets today. Each new product is the result of an extensive period of design, research, development and attention to the smallest details.
In the coming years, Ferribiella aims to further grow internationally and continue to be a market leader.
