The subsidiary of Colgate-Palmolive has hired American firm H+K Strategies to enhance the brand image of its pet food division.
Hill’s Pet Nutrition has mandated the PR agency’s branch in London to deliver PR, social media, and influencer engagement across both pet professional and pet parent audiences in the UK and Ireland.
A campaign called ‘Be More Animal’ will see a series of creative activations drive engagement and advocacy in the social media space. GlobalPETS learned that this action is scheduled to begin in spring and run through the year.
H+K stated that the work would focus on supporting the vet professional community by helping them open conversations with owners to understand their pets’ health better.
New HQ
The American pet food company recently announced it is moving its global and US headquarters to Kansas to set up a new hub in the Greater Kansas City area and create room for expansion.
Hill’s is slated to make the move in the fourth quarter of the year. The company will continue investing in its science, technology, and manufacturing hubs in its current HQ in Topeka. A new manufacturing unit in Tonganoxie is scheduled to open this year.
Local media said that the Kansas Department of Commerce will grant $3 million ($2.8M) in economic development incentives to the pet food manufacturer as part of the company’s relocation.
