IMAC was established in 1964 by Pietro Gattazzo and has since developed from a producer of bird and rodent cages to an experienced, cutting edge inventor and manufacturer of
pet supplies, currently led by the founder’s son Gianluca Gattazzo, Managing Director.
Global reach
The IMAC brand is currently distributed in over 48 countries worldwide. The company has good relations in most European countries where major dealers have categorised IMAC as an exclusive brand or as part of a major line.
In the last five years the company has increasingly moved its sales activities to new areas in the Middle and Far East, where IMAC has successfully established new interesting partnerships. Their main target for the coming year is to explore the North American market.
Product innovation
IMAC’s range has a good reputation, which is mainly due to the quality and unique design of the products. They set the company’s products apart from other products available on the market. But rather than competing with others, the company focuses on exploring new sustainable materials and designing new shapes.
Partly thanks to a longlasting, exclusive relationship with a designer, IMAC has been able to successfully launch new products for dogs and cats, birds, rodents, fish and reptiles.
Production
Production has recently been expanded to include a fully automated plastic moulding department. Moreover, the stock area has doubled in size; it now has a new racking system as well as a computerised order picking system. IMAC’s renovated showroom with its familiar and friendly atmosphere is regularly attended by international customers. Exquisite customer care makes all the difference, and a dedicated team daily takes care of customer service, treating each customer the best they can. To that end, they have also completely redesigned their website.
