From 8 to 11 May 2018, the international pet industry’s leading exhibition, Interzoo, will provide a top-level overview of the products and services from the global pet industry. The number of exhibitors has already exceeded the figure for Interzoo 2016: some 2,000 companies from more than 60 countries will be exhibiting at Interzoo 2018.
Trade visitors
In 13 halls, with a gross exhibition area of around 120,000 sqm, trade visitors will have plenty of opportunities to discover the global trends and standards that will define the years to come.
The exhibitors are geared up especially to deal with professionals and everyone intending to visit Interzoo must provide proof of their status as trade visitors. This is the only way for WZF to ensure the professional nature of the event.
Ideally, potential visitors should provide evidence of their trade visitor status directly on-line by 4 May and reserve their tickets; E-tickets ensure fast access.
Happy visitors
Accordingly, almost all the trade visitors at Interzoo 2016 (95%) declared themselves happy or very happy with the products and services they found there. And in 98% of cases, the opportunities to be informed and establish contacts met their expectations.
Many of the trade fair highlights will be visible in the Product Showcase right at the Mitte entrance: 3 months before the start date, about 120 products had already been registered.
Professionals can also go on-line to find all digital product notices from the suppliers, published in the Newsroom on the Interzoo website.
Interzoo app
From April, Interzoo visitors will be able to use the Interzoo app. They will find all exhibitors and products conveniently using a full text search, save them in their watch list, and view the location of the stands in question and their favourites on the floor plan. The app will also provide announcements of all Interzoo lectures, events and news.
Three questions for Dr Rowena Arzt, Director Exhibitions,
WZF GmbH
1.From 2018 on, Interzoo will be held from Tuesday to Friday. How has the market reacted?
We have changed the sequence of the trade fair days to suit the needs of most of the buyers. The duration of the show remains unchanged. Interzoo still includes a public holiday, which also allows smaller companies to attend the show. Our exhibitors have appreciated the change as well so far.
2.What makes Interzoo worthwhile for visitors?
Interzoo provides a comprehensive, first-hand overview of the latest products and services from over 60 countries. Buyers can benefit from special trade fair offers and topical information on latest trends. Visiting Interzoo shows that you’re at the cutting edge of the industry and it allows you to meet and exchange with industry colleagues. At Interzoo, visitors can see and actually test innovations: glossy brochures and web portals are fine, but seeing, smelling, touching and trying out are far better.
3.Will digitalisation have an influence on trade fairs like Interzoo in the future?
Combining exhibitions and the digital world will create new service offerings and enrich communication channels. Thinking differently and looking for new business models will become more and more important. Nevertheless, I strongly believe in face-to-face communication and physical events. Exhibitions create trust and allow a unique direct analysis of markets, products and companies.
