Disruptions in the supply chain and delivery will be the main topics of discussion at the trade fair taking place in Nuremberg (Germany) at the end of May.

The organization received registrations from exhibitions from 60 different countries, that will offer their latest products for dogs, cats, fish and other pets.

There will be a total of eleven national pavilions: Brazil, UK, India, Italy, Canada, Singapore, Taiwan, Czech Republic, US and France and South Korea as new additions this year.

“Despite the challenges created by Covid-19, the global pet industry has developed positively during the past two years,” highlighted Norbert Holthenrich, President of the German Pet Trade & Industry Association (ZZF).

Manufacturers and buyers will be able to meet in person in the German city and pave the way for new business in times of severe disruption in the supply chains, production problems and delivery bottlenecks.

Products for dogs and cats make up the largest share of the products on offer in the event (47%), followed by small animals and rodents (10%), then pet birds and aquariums (8% each).
