The Dutch ingredient supplier aims to reach new customers and broaden its product portfolio.
IQI will leverage OSI’s extensive supply chain network to expand its customer base and product portfolio, add additional supply relationships and provide new solutions to customers and suppliers with its innovative and unique protein and vegetable ingredients.
Distributing to 60 countries, IQI is also keen on sharing solutions and processes, from sourcing ingredients and developing sustainable concepts to providing technical support and running quality checks.
“The enormous OSI network and capabilities give IQI the opportunity to become a global leader in animal products, plant-based material and novel ingredients and to co-create new solutions for our suppliers and customers,” says IQI CEO Mark Oostendorp.
Senior Executive Vice President of OSI International, Mark Richardson, added that this partnership connects “OSI’s extensive industry relationships and animal protein and vegetable capabilities directly to IQI’s customers.”
OSI Group is a holding company of meat processors that service the retail and food service industries with headquarters in Aurora, Illinois, and operates in 17 countries
