Pet Advocacy Network announces new Director of Government Affairs
Ashley Brinkman will be in charge of engaging with state and federal lawmakers on pet-related laws and regulations.
Brinkman, who has vast experience in the field, will also be responsible for tracking all related legislation and managing contract lobbyists in 15 states.
Mike Bober, Pet Advocacy Network President and CEO, claimed that they are confident she will “thrive in this role given her ability to interact with lawmakers and analyze complex pieces of legislation.”
“Within this new position I am looking forward to advocating for pet ownership, animal health and well-being, and ensuring the pet care community thrives,” stated Brinkman.
She worked as the Government Affairs Office Manager for Berkshire Hathaway Energy between 2021 and 2022. Previously she has worked as Legislative Analyst for the RV Industry Association (RVIA).
