Pet Sustainability Coalition’s 2024 Earth Day Rally: 30 days of education and action

Every year, from April 1st to 30th, the Pet Sustainability Coalition rallies the industry to take meaningful and measurable action toward a more sustainable future.

The Earth Day Rally is a 30-day learning campaign where participants from across the industry engage on the Pet Sustainability Coalition’s (PSC) app on their phones or via desktop to “complete a variety of fun, short, earth-friendly actions” that further their knowledge and practice of sustainability.

The goal of this program is to encourage industry professionals to start creating new sustainable behavior patterns that will continue far beyond Earth Month. The best part? This event does not cost anything to join!

Sample courses include Sustainability at Work, Sustainability 101, Daily Repeatable Actions, and the Impact of Greenhouse Gases on the Environment.

Participants will log their actions throughout the month, accumulating in a total company score. The competition gets fierce for top performers—just ask last year’s brand leaders, including Nulo, Open Farm, and Stella & Chewy’s.

The Earth Day Rally is the only event in the pet industry to mobilize companies and their teams to further their knowledge and come together to develop concrete tactics to mitigate their environmental impact.

Companies find the Rally very helpful to engage employees and make them feel empowered, knowing that every action does matter.

Last year, 550 people from 37 companies completed 16,500 actions. PSC has an ambitious goal for 2024 and welcomes all pet industry professionals to join the movement.

They offer sponsorship opportunities to help support the event and promote your company as an industry and thought leader. Sponsorship offers some awesome benefits, including amplifying brand visibility to thousands of potential consumers.
