Radio Systems Corporation, which claims to be the largest manufacturer of hard pet goods in the US, has announced its rebranding to PetSafe Brands.
The rebrand attests to the company’s record year-on-year growth and demonstrates its pet-forward portfolio of brands: Invisible Fence Brand, Kurgo, PetSafe, SportDOG, and Premier Pet.
“It reflects a new energy in our company and a strong conviction that our unique combination of world-class technologies, a massive amount of IP, the best teammates in the business and our stable of beautiful, consumer-facing brands positions us incredibly well for another 33 years of growth and success,” shares company CEO Rob Candelino.
PetSafe has an international presence in Ireland, Australia, China and Vietnam, with an estimated revenue of $300 million (€276.7M) in 2023.
Strategic innovations
Upcoming product launches are expected to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) to support pet care and safety. The company is also focusing on adding convenience and efficiency to its pet hydration products and has announced the launch of the “first pumpless fountain.”
Other recent innovations include a self-cleaning litterbox under its ScoopFree line, the world’s first e-collar with health alerts by SportDog and the world’s smallest Bark Collar.
Established in 1991, the company grew from selling pet fences in Knoxville, Tennessee, to owning over 800 patents for pet products in safety technology, pet waste management, water and feed, and pet training, among other areas.
