Following the acquisition, Smart Tracking Technologies will begin working on a host of improvements and updates to the product line, including eventually opening up the Link AKC platform for 3rd party developers through the creation of an SDK. The first update can be expected within 30 days.
“We are excited about implementing an aggressive timeline of improvements and new features. The tracking technology industry is ripe with opportunity, and this new partnership will allow us to improve the user experience over the coming months and ultimately create a stronger bond between pet owners and their pets.” Said Donny Lamey, CEO of Smart Tracking Technologies, LLC.
The Link AKC headquarters will relocate to Jacksonville, FL, but will maintain a presence in Stamford, CT. Herbie Calves will retain his position as Chief Growth Officer, and Gabriele Beyer will be joining the team as CFO.
