The German company invested $65.5 million (€61.9M) in the construction of a new facility in South Carolina.
The state-of-the-art facility, which will be completed by 2025, will allow the company to meet increased demand and grow its powder palatant product lines.
Symrise Pet Food General Manager for North America Tim Lonc said that this expansion is a âkey stepâ for the business.
âAs the pet food industry keeps growing, we are committed to supporting our customers’ needs and are always looking for ways to reach out for new opportunities.â
The new facility will also create 65 new jobs.
