Anders Kristiansen to lead the Swedish pet food manufacturer and succeed Mårten Bernow, who has held the post since 2019.
The European producer of natural premium pet food believes that Kristiansenâs experience and expertise make him the right person to lead the firmâs next phase of growth.
Voff chairman Asbjørn Hyldgaard commented that he expects Voff âwill continue to thrive in its expansion journeyâ under the new leadership.
On his part, Kristiansen noted that in a short span of time, Voff has undergone an âimpressive journey and built up a strong platformâ to establish Europeâs premium natural pet food segment.
âLeveraging my previous experience, I look forward to joining the team and expanding the business through organic growth and acquiring leading brands to establish the company as the leading consolidator in the European natural pet food market,â he added.
Career highlights
Kristiansen has held several leadership roles across large consumer goods corporations as well start-ups.
Prior to joining Voff, he served as CEO of the fashion brand Esprit. He also worked as CEO of companies such as clothing firm New Look and office supply company Staples. He also worked as deputy CEO of Bestseller Fashion Group in China and as Managing Director of Asia Pacific at Lyreco, a distributor of office supplies.
Kristiansenâs career highlight also includes being the Executive Chairman of Hofmann, a German provider of frozen products, and a board member of Nordic consumer goods manufacturer Orkla.
