250th store at Plaček Group
The 250th store is 200 sum, located in Jablunkov, a Czech Republic town. It is the 4th generation of the Super zoo concept.
Plaček Group operates pet shops in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania under the name
Super zoo, in Poland it is Kakadu and in Latvia and Russia under the name DINO ZOO. Next week there will be another new opening and this time it will be 100th store just in the Czech Republic.
The owner of Plaček Group Dušan Plaček said: “I am very happy that our 250th pet store is place in Jablunkov. This town is placed on the boundaries of 3 countries Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland, which are in retail our key markets. This location is really symbolic for us. Pet store in Jablunkov is also pilot project for our group, because we have decided to test stores with smaller concept with size 200 m2 also in towns with less than 10.000 residents.”
Until the end of 2020 Plaček Group will open still 12 new stores. The plans for 2021 are even more ambitious with 40 new stores within the group. The group wishes to target opening of 300th pet store in 2021.
