BEWITAL petfood nominates additional Managing Director

With effect from 1st January 2019, BEWITAL petfood appointed an additional managing director in former proxy and Sales Director Bernd van der Linde.

Aged 49, married father of two children and owner of two labrador retrievers, the Business Economist Bernd van der Linde learned the sales business from the bottom up. After several successful years of employment in other businesses, he started his career at BEWITAL petfood back in 2005. For a start, he lead the development and entrance to key export markets, before he gained the overall responsitbility for the sales department in 2009. In that position, he realigned existing structures to recent market changes backed by his sales team. With that move, he laid the foundation for the strong growth of recent years.

Van der Linde makes a point of a close customer relationship: „It’s the direct conversation to business partners which develops a trusting relationship. On that basis, usually the best ideas come up for a successful joint business relationship.“

Besides Bernd van der Linde, the current Managing Associate Dr. Jürgen Wigger will proceed with his previous activities.
