China pet industry is back to work!
According to the first-hand information from CIPS, the whole pet industry is rolling back to normal production gradually. Most factories are meanwhile back to the normal production. Of course, with a policy of disinfection and personal protection, to avoid that the virus comes back, all is measured tightly.
The Corona virus have had a seriouse impact on the pet industry. 75% of the Chinese exhibitors failed to make the trip to Global Pet Expo (GPE) this February in Orlando.
To keep the internaitonal as well as the national pet industry informed about the progress and impact of the virus they organised:
a. the live streaming show on GPE. It is the very first live streaming show for international pet exhibitions in China pet industry.
b. held an online conference with China Pet Industry Committee of China Entry & Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association and National Pet Industry Technology Innovation Alliance. The China Pet Industry Online Collaboration Conference gathered almost 500 leading enterprises’ representatives from manufacturers, distributors, healthcare, education, training and partnered associations. Thirty two speakers shared their opinions and experiences on risk control and recovery measures. After the conference, CIPS started to design and implant online training classes through its CIPS Online University, which provides free professional training class since 2019.
