Company of Animals are the winner of “Resource Efficient Pack Of The Year” by UK Packaging Awards 2020
Dr Roger Mugford and team have remodelled over 600,000 retail units from the former plastic into now fully recyclable paper and will continue the process into the future. The guiding principle in evolving packaging at Company of Animals is to encourage owners to touch and test training products before purchase, simply stated as “less is more”.
With a plethora of new and exciting product launches planned for 2021 and beyond, our team at Company of Animals is committed to moving the needle even further towards business with a cleaner future. The company ais founder member of the Pet Sustainability Coalition, which stimulates environmentally positive actions within our pet industry.
“We all want a world where humans and animals enjoy a healthy life alongside unspoiled nature. But the science is clear, we must take urgent action to conserve our beautiful planet.
With that in mind, we have been working hard to remove plastic packaging from over 70% of our product range so far, making it easier for owners to make an informed & sustainable choice when finding the right training solutions for their pets.”
Why stop there? Our premises at Ruxbury Farm are fitted with 23Kw state-of-the-art solar panels that power our offices and farm, even exporting significant power back into the local grid. The plan is to aggressively evolve towards a carbon neutral business model, and which will include planting forests on Dr Mugford’s land in Surrey and Devon.
Even our dogs Bounce and Dave play their part in recycling!
