The Coronavirus has impact on the pet indutry, exhibitions are canceled, alternative suppliers are in the spotlights.

– Pet industry organisations in China have joined forces to find a way forward for businesses and international trade affected by the Coronavirus epidemic.

– Interpet in Japan has been cancelled as well as Pet Food Forum Asia 2020, Bangkok, which has been in combinatiin with the VICTAM and the VIV.

– An official of the Global Pet Expo said that 130 exhibitors couldn’t participate in the convention this year because of travel restrictions from China due to the coronavirus.

– At the Global Pet Expo, last week, became clear that comapnies are looking around for alternative suppliers outside China.
