Fressnapf will start 2022 with a change in leadership
Current Managing Director Dr. Hans-Jörg Gidlewitz will go into well-deserved retirement and Christian Kümmel will step up as new Managing Director, alongside Dr. Johannes Steegmann.
Kümmel joined the retail giant in 2015 and currently serves as Senior Vice President Corporate Controlling & Development.
Torsten Toeller, who will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors, is looking forward to working with the new management team in the future: “Christian Kümmel is perfectly suited to this responsible role, both professionally and personally. He lives our corporate values with firm, personal conviction and has built up one of the best-performing teams in our organization over the years. Now he is ready for the next step.”
