HiPets expands footprint in the Polish market
The veterinary booking system announced the acquisition of two portals from pet owner communication platform Petstar.
According to Hipets, this purchase will increase the scale of its operations and attract new customers.
“The acquisition of psy.pl and koty.pl will enable us to offer more than one million pet owners in Poland a convenient platform through which they can easily take care of their four-legged friends,” commented Leszek Wolany, co-founder of HiPets.
The company also took over the rights of two Petstar campaigns: the plebiscite Heart for Animals and Let’s Break the Chains – a protest group campaigning against keeping dogs chained up.
Petstar is the largest pet industry media platform in Poland, reaching more than 1.2 million pet parents per month. Founded in March 2021, HiPets is used by more than 150,000 dog and cat owners.
