i-Tail boosts profits as new products, overseas deals drive momentum

The Thai pet food maker eyes expansion to new low-tariff markets to keep its long-term profit targets on track.

Bangkok-headquartered i-Tail Corporation posted a 5.3% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) rise in sales to THB 4.47 billion ($124M/€114M) in Q2 2025, fueled by a 6.9% increase in sales volume.

Profit for the period reached THB 1.4 billion ($39M/€36M), while revenue totaled THB 8.72 billion ($242M/€222M), with pet food accounting for 98%.

In addition, the Thai Union subsidiary generated THB 1.63 million ($45K/€41K) in revenue from new products and continues to expand its portfolio.

The growth during this period was driven by new commercial successes, including new projects in the US valued at $56 million (€52M) and the first shipments to new importer brands in the UK and Europe.

Gross profit hit THB 1.12 billion ($31M/€29M), rising 9.6% QoQ, while adjusted net profit stood at THB 803 million ($22M/€20M).

“Our first-half performance reflects the strength of our customer relationships, the solid foundation of our business model and the success of our long-term growth strategy,” says Roy Chan, CEO of i-Tail Corporation.

Outlook

i-Tail is targeting an operating profit of $50 million (€46M) starting 2027.

“We remain committed to accelerating growth through Project Tailwind, which is designed to optimize manufacturing and procurement while increasing efficiency on cost management,” says Chan.

He adds that despite global uncertainties (including US tariffs), their priority is to remain “agile and resilient.” “We are focused on leveraging innovation to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, expand our market reach and deliver sustainable value to all stakeholders,” he states.

ITC is also taking steps to cushion potential fallout from US tariff policies. The company says it is working with customers on cost-sharing plans while expanding its operations in low-tariff markets.
