Mars Petcare names head of New Science and Diagnostics
Nefertiti Greene will play an “integral role” in the company’s new division.
Greene will also lead the Waltham Petcare Science Institute, a Mars biobank specializing in using data and scientific inquiry to inform preventive pet health measures.
Loic Moutalt, president of Mars Petcare, welcomed her in overseeing the “continued growth of our diagnostics business and to accelerate the impact of our science,” adding that “we recognize that shifting from curative to preventative veterinary care depends on being able to accurately predict and diagnose disease in pets.”
“I am excited to join the Mars Petcare leadership team and look forward to using my experience in the healthcare industry to help build on the successes in diagnostics and science at Mars Petcare,” Greene expressed.
Prior to joining Mars, Greene worked as head of enterprise strategy and chief of staff to the CEO at Johnson & Johnson. She is currently a member of the Executive Leadership Council and in 2019 was recognized by NAFE (National Association of Female Executives) as P&L Leader of the Year.
