Pet store is named Irish National Retailer of the Year
Petstop in Douglas was awarded in the AIBMS Retail Excellence Ireland Awards 2022.
The store, part of a family-run Irish pet chain specialist, opened recently with a new concept focused on sustainability and design.
Director Anthony Gallagher said that he was proud “of the dedication and hard work” of all his colleagues after receiving this annual award created in 1997. The award promotes best practices and encourages high standards in the Irish retail industry.
Petstop has 200 employees, 8 stores, and an online retail site, Petstop.ie, and serves more than 20,000 customers weekly. The retailer has seen its annual revenue go from €10 million pre-pandemic to more than €30 million today.
