Pet World Arabia 2025 to host over 200 exhibitors in Dubai

The MEA’s premier pet industry exhibition has doubled in size since its 2023 debut, reflecting the region’s booming demand for pet products and services.
Pet World Arabia, the Middle East and Africa’s only comprehensive B2B exhibition for the pet industry, is set to return for its third edition on April 19-20, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). This year’s event will feature over 200 exhibitors from more than 22 countries, doubling the participation of its inaugural edition in 2023.
“The appeal of Pet World Arabia has grown by leaps and bounds over the course of three years in line with the increasing pet humanization across the UAE and the region, catalyzing the demand for a range of pet products from food to accessories and grooming,” said Nadhal Mohamed, General Manager of Al Fajer Information & Services, the event’s organizers.
According to Mohamed, the pet market in the region is growing at an annual rate of 5% and is expected to surpass $6.5 billion within two years.
Business meets entertainment
While Pet World Arabia is predominantly a B2B event aimed at helping local, regional, and global pet industry stakeholders expand their presence in the MEA market, it also offers an engaging B2C component.
“We have been able to blend business with the delight and love for pets, which has grown exponentially since the lonely days of COVID. Across the region, pets are now seen as integral family members, driving the demand for pet products and services,” Mohamed added.
Educational and entertainment programs
Over the last two years, Pet World Arabia has established itself as a key event on Dubai’s annual calendar, drawing interest from businesses and pet enthusiasts alike. Exhibitors will showcase a wide range of pet food, accessories, grooming products, cosmetics, and veterinary solutions.
Rajesh Nair, Project Manager for the event, highlighted the dual focus of the show: “While it remains rooted in its goal of boosting business opportunities for the pet industry, Pet World Arabia has also gained mass appeal through its educational and entertainment programs.”
These programs include live dog shows, a Dog Championship, pet fashion shows, grooming competitions, veterinary seminars, and dog training demonstrations, offering something for every attendee.
Global participation
This year’s exhibitors hail from a diverse range of countries, including Belgium, China, Egypt, Indonesia, Italy, India, Kuwait, the Netherlands, Pakistan, South Korea, Switzerland, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, the UAE, and the USA.
The rapid growth of the pet industry in the MEA region mirrors global trends. Bloomberg Intelligence estimates that the global pet market will expand from $320 billion to $500 billion by 2030, with the U.S. remaining the largest market, projected to reach $200 billion in sales.
State of play
Pet World Arabia continues to grow as both a trade hub and a destination for pet lovers, reflecting the deepening bond between people and their pets across the region. With its blend of business opportunities and engaging experiences, the 2025 edition is set to further strengthen its standing as a flagship event for the global pet industry.
