Retailers embrace fast pet product delivery through new partnerships

Platforms including Uber Eats, DoorDash, Instacart and Deliveroo are expanding their pet offerings.

From Amazon Now and Instacart in North America to Uber Eats and Deliveroo in Europe, pet players are racing to offer faster, more convenient ways to shop.

Amazon Now

The e-commerce giant has recently rolled out Amazon Now, offering 30-minute deliveries in selected areas across Seattle, Washington, Philadelphia and the state of Pennsylvania.

Household essentials and groceries, including pet food and treats, are covered by this service.

Amazon is using strategically located, smaller facilities to enable efficient order fulfillment, positioned close to where customers live and work.

It also launched its service in India this year, covering cities such as Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai, as well as in the United Arab Emirates, serving locations such as Dubai Marina, Abu Dhabi Central, Rowdhat, Al Ain and Al Khan.

Kiwoko and Tiendanimal on Uber Eats

Spanish pet retailers Kiwoko and Tiendanimal are now available nationwide on Uber Eats. According to the company, they now offer more than 5,000 products from 190 stores.

“With this incorporation, we continue to advance in our mission to deliver almost everything, facilitating immediate access to essential products for the care of pets, which form part of thousands of homes in Spain,” says Marta López Saavedra, Retail Director of Uber Eats Spain.

Pet Valu and Uber, DoorDash

Products from Pet Valu and its 4 other banners – Bosley’s by Pet Valu, Paulmac’s Pets, Tisol Pet Nutrition & Supply, and Total Pet – are now available on Uber Eats.

“With Uber Eats’ same-day convenience, we’re giving pet parents across Canada another easy way to access all the pet products they need and have more time to do the things they love,” Tanbir Grovers, Chief Marketing and Digital Officer at Pet Valu, says.

Pet Valu has also partnered with the delivery platform DoorDash and made its products available at over 600 locations nationwide.

The retailer operates over 800 corporate-owned or franchised locations across Canada, offering more than 10,000 products.

Pet Supplies Plus and Instacart

Pet Supplies Plus now offers same-day delivery nationwide through Instacart, the leading online grocery and retail delivery platform in North America. Products from over 700 stores can be delivered in as little as an hour when ordered through the platform’s app or website.

“By partnering with Instacart, we’re extending [our] commitment to even more of our neighbors, giving them the flexibility to shop from home while enjoying exclusive loyalty member benefits,” says Chris Rowland, CEO at Pet Supplies Plus.

The partnership also extends to over 20 Wag N’ Wash locations, Pet Supplies Plus’s sister brand, specializing in grooming services and natural pet food.

Pets Corner and Deliveroo

British retailer Pets Corner has announced an exclusive partnership with online food delivery platform Deliveroo to meet the growing demand for convenient, rapid delivery of premium pet products.

Pets Corner will bring essential products such as treats, food, healthcare and grooming products, as well as holiday products, to Deliveroo customers in select locations around Brighton and London.

“For our loyal customers, it’s about bringing added flexibility, whether you’re short on time, low on pet food, or simply prefer a same-day service from home,” says David Pack, the company’s e-commerce and Marketing Director.

From 2024 to 2025, searches for pet products in the UK on the Deliveroo platform surged 48% year-on-year, reflecting the rising demand for on-demand delivery solutions for pet products, according to the company.

Amazon and Chronodrive

Products from French drive-through supermarket chain Chronodrive, including pet supplies, are available in the country’s branch of Amazon since October.

At first, the partnership will cover 6 locations in Bordeaux (Southwest), Grenoble (Southeast) and Lille (North). Chronodrive operates over 140 locations across France.

“This launch marks the first step in the partnership between Amazon and Chronodrive, with the shared ambition of extending the service to all Chronodrive stores in the coming months,” the company says.
