Suziria considers expanding its distribution hub in Kyiv
The Ukrainian pet company wants to add 10,000 square meters to bolster its national distribution.
Although Suziria was stronger in the east and the center of the country, the war accelerated the company’s development in Western Ukraine.
“Even during the war, we don’t have the right to decrease the delivery service quality neither for the clients nor for the brands, which the company distributes to Ukraine,” said Serhii Demchenko, Director of Suziria Distribution.
As of late 2022, the company holds 4 warehouses across Ukraine: Kharkiv (5,500 sqm), Kyiv (2,000 sqm), Lviv (3,200 sqm), and a distribution center in Kalush (5,300 sqm).
According to the pet product distributor, the company now has a “vastly expanded structure,” allowing supply stability from foreign partners in the west of Ukraine and fast and reliable sales of products across the country.
The Russian invasion is playing “a significant role” in accelerating Suziria’s production capacity expansion. The company opened a new facility in Kalush in September 2022 to produce the brand Priroda, which has been in the Ukrainian market for over 25 years.
