These pet entrepreneurs earned a spot on the Inc. 2025 Female Founders 500

The American business publication has recognized female founders in the pet industry in this year’s ranking.

Each year, Inc. Magazine highlights top women entrepreneurs who are leading successful businesses and making an impact in their industries by recognizing female founders based on their leadership, innovation and the growth of their companies. This year, women in the pet industry were celebrated for their achievements.

Scenthound

Jessica Vogel, Co-Founder of Florida-based membership-based dog grooming franchise Scenthound, has been included in the list for her leadership in the pet wellness sector. The jury recognizes her commitment to enhancing employee skills and innovating subscription services in the pet industry.

“Being named is an incredible honor, but it’s truly a reflection of the amazing team and franchisees who bring Scenthound’s mission to life every day,” she says.

Under her leadership, Scenthound has seen 63 new franchise agreements and 46 Scenters opening in 2024. This growth contributed to a 78% increase in system-wide revenue and more than one million dog appointments completed.

With a female-majority corporate team and over 50% of its franchise owners being women, Scenthound is committed to empowering women in the pet industry.

The company was also recently recognized on Franchise Business Review’s 2025 Top Franchises for Women list.

Vogel is working on further expansion for the brand, with plans to open more than 300 locations across 26 states in the U.S. in the coming years.

She was recognized for “expanding offerings of customizable pet wellness plans, winning the 2024 Benefits Trailblazer Award for Best Lifestyle Solution and nearly tripling their B2B annual recurring revenue in 2024.”

“Proud to be included in Inc. Magazine’s 2025 Female Founders 500 list with a remarkable group of entrepreneurs redefining business leadership,” Horvath states.
