Vafo Praha appoint new CEO

Jakub Majer (left) has been appointed the new CEO of Vafo Praha. He replaced Pavel Bouška, the company’s owner and Chairman of the Board of VAFO Group a.s.
Milan Bartoš became the company’s Head of Sales replacing Jakub Majer in his previous position.
Jakub Majer has previously worked in the company as Head of Sales. Milan Bartoš, who headed the private label department, took up the vacant position of head of the sales department. The owner and previous CEO of Vafo Pavel Bouška now intends to devote himself fully to the integration, management and development of companies within the international VAFO Group a.s.
Jakub Majer has been with Vafo Praha for thirteen years. After graduating from Charles University and the Czech Technical University in Prague, he worked in the automotive industry and in the field of human resources. He joined Vafo as a project manager in 2007. A year later, he became sales director and remained in this position until May 2020. Since last year, he has also been a member of the company’s Board of Directors.
Milan Bartoš has been in the pet food business for over ten years. Having started in retail positions, he later moved to sales and procurement. He joined VAFO PRAHA s.r.o. in 2013 as a sales manager and since 2018, he has been in charge of managing private labels.
