Why Guangzhou?
Guangzhou’s strategic location and top-notch infrastructure make it ideal for international business. Known as China’s “Southern Gateway,” the city is a trade hub with excellent global connectivity.
Its world-class transportation network connects exhibitors and visitors to key domestic and international markets. Guangzhou’s port facilities make it a prime spot for importing and exporting goods.
The city has 68 foreign consulates, the most in China, further boosting its global business appeal. Guangzhou’s airport offers a 240-hour visa-free transit policy for citizens of 54 countries, making it more accessible for global attendees.
The city’s seamless integration into the Greater Bay Area’s transport network, connecting Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Macau, adds to its attractiveness. With a new ferry route to Hong Kong that takes only two hours, travel has become even easier.
Guangzhou’s growing reputation as a “City of International Conventions” is backed by policies that promote professional, international engagement and digital transformation. This, combined with its proximity to Hong Kong and Macau, strengthens its position as a leading location for the pet industry.
Streamlining the experience
With a permanent venue in Guangzhou, CIPS aims to offer a more predictable and reliable experience for exhibitors and visitors. This stability will streamline event planning and improve the overall quality of the show, ensuring long-term success for all participants.
Looking ahead
The 29th CIPS takes place from November 13-16, 2025, in Guangzhou. By solidifying its position in the city, CIPS continues to evolve, offering new opportunities for global collaboration and industry growth. As the event expands, CIPS plans to refine its services, ensuring a top-tier experience for all involved.
