The appointment follows the recent arrivals of other top management to accelerate the growth of the Italian pet care company.
Peter Pritchard joined Pets at Home in 2011 as Commercial Director and became company CEO in 2018.
“Peter’s experience in the pet world and, specifically, in the creation of an omnichannel model based on value-added services will be a precious asset for the development of Arcaplanet”, claimed CEO Nicolò Galante.
Pritchard’s new role is part of the company’s strategic development program and follows the recent appointments of the new CEO Nicolò Galante and the CFO Alessandro Strati.
Back in March, Arcaplanet and Fressnapf’s Maxi Zoo announced they were combining businesses in Italy to consolidate the retailers in the Italian market and expand to new locations.
Created 25 years ago and owned by Agrifarma, Arcaplanet is an Italian chain and market leader in the distribution of pet products. It currently has over 390 pet stores, an e-commerce platform and around 2,000 employees.
